Last season, I played one of the worst matches I can remember.
Nothing was working. Missed volleys. Missed returns. Missed easy balls I normally make.
After every mistake, I looked at my partner waiting for the sigh. The look. The frustration.
It never came.
She just smiled and said, “Next ball.”
We didn’t even win the match. But I still remember it because she reminded me what a great doubles partner feels like.

Because tennis has taught me something simple.

Now every time I walk on court, I ask myself one question:
Would I want to play with me today?

I love competing.

I’ve seen matches where nobody remembered the score, but everyone remembered who made the court feel tense.
I knew there had to be another way.
